Hello

I’m Valentina De Luca, an illustrator and educator working at the crossroads of visual arts, pedagogy, and inclusion. Through workshops, images, words, and sound, I create experiences that empower people of all ages to express themselves and explore new paths of growth.

Talea means branch, trace, a fragment of a plant that, once detached, can develop and give life to a new plant. This is how I see emigration: like a plant seeking new soil, a new life elsewhere. Movement generates energy, creates connections, encounters, and new possibilities.

In my work as an educator and creator of educational workshops, I aim to promote integration and stimulate self-expression through images, printed words, and sounds, offering experiences that encourage people to explore new possibilities and paths of growth.

Creativity. Inclusion. Transformation.

Art and education as a shared journey toward expression, connection, and new possibilities.

Creative Pedagogy

I design experiences that merge learning with imagination, sparking discovery in every age group.

Inclusive Practices

Neurodivergence and difference are not barriers, they’re starting points for building flexible, welcoming spaces.

Visual Storytelling

Through drawing, collage, and printed words, I help people tell their own stories with confidence.

Cultural Roots

My Southern Italian heritage infuses my work with rhythm, memory, and a sense of place.

Migration & Identity

Like a talea, my practice is shaped by movement, growth, and the search for new soil.

Workshops for All

From children to adults, I create spaces for expression, reflection, and connection.

A child who learns that the sky is not always and only blue is a child who will likely be able to find more creative solutions to a problem in the future, who will be more ready to discuss and not simply accept things.
